Act One - Playhouse on Park's First Anniversary Celebration a Big Success!

It was a party to cap off quite a year - Playhouse on Park turned one!   There was so much to celebrate:  almost 200 nights of live performance on stage at the Playhouse; the first professional reviews (all positive); three awards - The Best of Hartford Advocate and The Best of Hartford Magazine Reader's Polls and The Noah Webster Award; a brand-new Board of Directors; innumerable volunteers and supporters; and talk of a second season!  What a year!

This even couldn't have been possible without generous contributions from West Side Wine & Spirits; Two Marys' Catering; Smooth Sounds Classic Jazz; amazing performances by stop/time dance theater and the stars of The Last Five Years Carey Anderson and Jeff Scot Carey; an incredibly generous host committee and our honorary hosts Mayor Scott and Noelle Slifka and all of the restaurants and businesses who contributed to our raffle.   Thank you all!     We are grateful to all who attended the event. Together we raised over $7,000 which will go directly to operating costs at Playhouse on Park.
