TICKET POLICIES (Updated 9/1/10 to reflect the 2010-2011 Season)
How can I purchase individual tickets?
Tickets can be purchased in person, online or over the telephone. To purchase tickets over the phone or online, you will need a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover only). At the box office cash, check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) are all acceptable forms of payment. Checks should be made payable to Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. Once tickets are purchased, all sales are final and there are no refunds allowed. Tickets purchased over the telephone can be mailed or held at the box office. Tickets cannot be held unless they are paid.
Are there service fees?
Our internet ticketing is done using tix.com. All internet orders are subject to $1.50 per ticket service fee. If you request that your online order be mailed to you (this is optional), there is a $3.00 shipping fee. There is only one shipping fee per order. There are no service fees if you purchase your tickets in person at the box office or via the telephone.
Do you have e-ticketing where I print my own?
E-ticketing is not available at this time. All tickets are printed at the box office and either held or mailed to you.
Can I have tickets held at the box office (Will Call)?l
Yes, and tickets that are held at the box office may be picked up any time the box office is open. The box office will open two hours prior to the start of a performance. It is suggested that tickets be picked up no later than 15 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets cannot be held unless they are paid.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
What subscription options are there?
Subscriptions are offered for the Main Stage Series for 2010-2011. Save 20% by purchasing the entire 6-show series. In addition, as a subscriber, you'll be able to save on the A La Carte Series productions (see below).

How can I save on the A La Carte Series?
Subscribers to the Main Stage Series are eligible to purchase $10 tickets to any A La Carte series production.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts on individual tickets:
There is a $2.50 discount for students, senior citizens and Let*s GO Arts members for individual tickets purchased for a show in the 2010-11 Main Stage Series and A La Carte Series. Please read the individual show description to learn about discounts and see our Ticket Info Page for prices.

STUDENT RUSH TICKETS
Students with a valid school ID may purchase “student rush” tickets for $10, if there are any tickets available, 15 minutes prior to the start of any given performance. Student Rush tickets are cash only.
LUNCHTIME SPECIAL
$10 tickets are available between 12pm - 1pm for the performance occuring that same day/evening. Lunch time special tickets are limited by availability. This pertains only to performances in the 2010-11 Main Stage and A La Carte series. Lunch special not availble for music, dance, comedy, improv or children's performances. Tickets must be purchased in person, at the Playhouse on Park box office, cash only.
TICKET EXCHANGE
Can I exchange tickets?
While no refunds are allowed, Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. does offer a ticket exchange for remaining performances of the same show if canceled 24 hours before the performance. In that event, Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. will make every effort to accommodate you at an alternate performance. Any exchanges are based on availability at remaining performances. An exchange fee of $3.00 per ticket will apply for changes to the order. This fee is waived for those who have purchased a subscription.
How do I exchange tickets?
You will need to contact the box office by phone at (860) 523-5900 ext 10 or in person if you have any changes or cancellations to ticket orders. Additional fees may apply as stated here in the ticket policy.
GIFT CERTIFICATE HOLDERS / COMP TICKETS
Patrons who fall into any of the above categories MUST make a reservation well in advance for the performance they wish to attend. You can exchange your ticket for another performance of the same show at no charge up to 24 hours prior to the performance. If you need to exchange tickets on the day of the performance, you will be charged $3.00 per ticket exchange fee. Same-day exchange privileges end at 12:00pm for the 2:00pm performances and 6:00pm for the 8:00pm performances. One night only events are non-exchangeable. All exchanges are subject to seating availability.
PERFORMANCE CANCELLATION REFUND
Do you ever cancel a performance?
If events outside of the theatre's control (e.g., power failure, inclement weather) force the theatre to cancel a performance, we will do our very best to reschedule the performance. If we are unable to reschedule the performance, we will issue a full refund to all ticket holders for that scheduled performance.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If the performers are present at Playhouse on Park, then the performance will take place. If the performance is re-scheduled, then the original tickets issued are valid for the new date. Only if the Governor issues a State of Emergency, and it is in effect three hours prior to curtain, will refunds be available.
