TICKET POLICIES (updated for 2013-2014 Season)
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges allowed unless the theatre cancels a performance. Subscribers benefit from an exchange allowance within each production.
How can I purchase individual tickets?
Tickets can be purchased in person, online or over the telephone. To purchase tickets over the phone or online, you will need a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover only). At the box office cash, check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) are all acceptable forms of payment. Checks should be made payable to Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. Once tickets are purchased, all sales are final and there are no refunds allowed. Tickets purchased over the telephone can be mailed (for a $3 fee) or held at the box office. Tickets cannot be held unless they are paid.
Are there service fees?
If you purchase at the box office, there is no service fee. If you purchase online via Tix.Com, you incur a $1.50 per ticket convenience charge. If you have your tickets mailed to you (purchased online or over the phone), there is a $3.00 per order shipping fee.
Do you have e-ticketing where I print my own?
E-ticketing is not available at this time. All tickets are printed at the box office and either held or mailed to you.
Can I have tickets held at the box office (Will Call)?
Yes, and tickets that are held at the box office may be picked up any time the box office is open. The box office will open two hours prior to the start of a performance. It is suggested that tickets be picked up no later than 15 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets cannot be held unless they are paid.
What subscription options are there?
Subscriptions can be purchased in person, over the phone or online. To purchase tickets over the phone you will need a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover only). Subscriptions are purchased for the same day of each run (1st Friday, 2nd Saturday, etc.). Subscribers may exchange their tickets to another night within the run. Simply bring your tickets to the box office or telephone the box office (ahead of the scheduled performance) and we will help you exchange your tickets for a different night.
Subscribers will be able to purchase tickets ahead of other patrons and have the right of first refusal with regards to their seats for the next season.

Discounts on individual tickets:
There is a $2.50 discount for students, senior citizens (age 62 and up) and Let*s GO Arts members for individual tickets purchased for a show in the 2013-2014 Main Stage Series. See our Ticket Info Page for prices.
STUDENT RUSH TICKETS
Students with a valid school ID may purchase “student rush” tickets for $10, if there are any tickets available, 15 minutes prior to the start of any given performance. Student Rush tickets are cash only and are limited to one per student.
$10 tickets are available between 12pm - 1pm for the performance occuring that same day/evening. Lunch time special tickets are limited by availability. This pertains only to 2013-2014 Main Stage performances. Lunch special not available for music, dance, comedy, improv or Theatre for Young Audiences performances. Tickets must be purchased in person, at the Playhouse on Park box office, cash only. Lunchtime special seats will be assigned by the box office - the purchaser cannot pick their seats.
PERFORMANCE CANCELLATION REFUND
Do you ever cancel a performance?
If events outside of the theatre's control (e.g., power failure, inclement weather) force the theatre to cancel a performance, we will do our very best to reschedule the performance. If we are unable to reschedule the performance, we will issue a full refund to all ticket holders for that scheduled performance.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If the performers are present at Playhouse on Park, then the performance will take place. If the performance is re-scheduled, then the original tickets issued are valid for the new date. Only if the Governor issues a State of Emergency, and it is in effect three hours prior to curtain, will refunds be available.
What if the town of West Hartford issues a Parking Ban?
Typically, when the Town issues a Parking Ban, we are able to obtain special permission to allow cars to park on the street for the duration of the performance. Otherwise, although we typically discourage our patrons from parking in AC Petersen's parking lot, if there is a parking ban, we have special permission to use their lot.
