Hedwig and the Angry Inch - August 25 - 27, 2011
The show, with text by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask is about a fictional rock & roll band fronted by "internationally ignored song stylist" Hedwig Schmidt - a fourth-wall smashing, transgendered, East German rock goddess. Premiering in 1998, it has been performed throughout the world and has developed a following similar to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. More info

The Annual Volunteer Pot Luck Dinner at Playhouse on Park – September 2, 2011
Whatever you've done: ushered, served on our Board, on a committee, painted, cleaned, performed off site, you name it - we want to celebrate!

The Annual Park Road Parade – October 1, 2011
Playhouse Co-Founders Sean, Darlene & Tracy will serve as Masters of Ceremony at this Park Road tradition. Bands, floats, local dignitaries and clowns come together in this yearly celebration of Park Road and West Hartford. Parade kicks off at 10:00am.

Oktoberfest – October 1, 2011
A beer tasting event to benefit Playhouse on Park to be held at The Pond House at Elizabeth Park.

New Year's Eve Murder Mystery Party: Murder on the High Seas - December 31, 2011
Join us this year on a luxury cruise liner as we ring in the New Year!  This interactive party includes beer/wine, hearty hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, coffee, dessert and an evening of lies, scandal and murder.  Attendees come dressed in character to play along.  8pm - 1am, $55.00 per person.

The Mayor’s Charity Ball – May 12, 2012

TD Bank’s Pennies for the Playhouse – June 27, 2012
Save your loose coins all year long and donate it to the Playhouse during this day-long celebration.

Act III – Playhouse on Park’s Third Anniversary Celebration – July 26, 2012
Join us as we celebrate the third anniversary of Playhouse On Park .This event will occur in conjunction with a performance of SWINGING ON A STAR.
